The
Plastic Recessed Light Cover (PRLC) is easy to use: Simply snap the cover
into position. The PRLC will protect the light can AND the bezel. There is
no need to remove the bulb or otherwise disassemble the fixture. The PRLC
is designed to be used with the light in place and will even allow light
to pass through - helping ensure that you can have a well-lit work area.
IMPORTANT - DO NOT leave the light
on for longer than four hours. Leaving a light on with the PRLC in place
for longer than four hours could result in a risk of fire. DO
NOT turn the light on with the PRLC in place if the wattage of the bulb is
greater than 70 watts. Though the 6-inch PRLC will fit the majority of
standard light cans, be sure and verify the size of the can and bezel. The
PRLC is intended for use when cleaning, preparing, texturing or painting.
After
use, the PRLC is very simple to remove. Especially when texturing or
painting, be sure and TWIST the PRLC BEFORE PULLING DOWN.
This will help ensure a clean break with any overlap of paint or other
material that may be partially on the surface of the PRLC.
